Working primarily on diesel and natural gas fired engines, generator ends, control systems, and power transfer switches/circuit breakers.Salary Range: $27.00 - $50.00 per hourSign-On Bonus:Tech I - Tech II: $1000Tech III: $2000(terms apply)ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, inspections and testing of standby generation equipment, automatic transfer switches, and diesel fire pumpsAccurately trouble shoot and diagnose problems with generators, transfer switches, fire pumps, and industrial enginesMake repair recommendations to customers; identify required parts to completePerform repairs on generators, transfer switches, fire pumps, and industrial enginesUtilize diagnostic tools – multimeter, megohm meter, OEM softwareAbility to take care of the customers' needs while following company proceduresPerform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures.Experience with mtu and Volvo Penta highly desirable.
