Supporting the transplant area, the full-time Patient Financial Advocate will counsel patients on financial responsibilities, assist with payment options, and advocate for patients with insurance carriers while working remotely from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Key responsibilities Counsel patients on insurance benefits and alternative payment sources while explaining financial responsibilities Contact insurance carriers to advocate for patients and initiate the collection process for prepays Identify and resolve issues related to registration, financial clearance, and billing procedures Required qualifications High School Diploma/GED with three years of customer-facing experience, or an Associate's Degree with two years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with one year of experience Experience in finance, such as banking or cashiering, is preferred Bilingual speaking is a plus
