Job Description
Producción y Operador/a de Línea confiable y dinámico/a para unirse a nuestra planta de procesamiento de alimentos en Hicksville, NY. El turno comienza a las 5:45 AM y finaliza al concluir la producción diaria. Será responsable de operar maquinaria de empaque, cargar rollos de plástico, transportar materiales y mantener la línea de producción en marcha de forma segura y eficiente.
salary: $17 - $18 per hour

Responsibilities
- Operación de Maquinaria: Configurar, monitorear y operar máquinas empaquetadoras para asegurar que los productos de carne de cerdo queden sellados correctamente y sin fugas.
- Manejo de Materiales: Recoger rollos de plástico para empaque (de 30 a 60 lbs) en el almacén, transportarlos al área de trabajo y reemplazarlos en la máquina durante el turno.
- Trabajo en Línea de Producción: Empacar, clasificar y etiquetar los productos terminados para cumplir con las metas diarias de producción.
- Control de Calidad: Inspeccionar continuamente el empaque para garantizar la calidad visual, el sello hermético y el cumplimiento de las normas de higiene.
- Limpieza y Seguridad: Mantener el área de trabajo limpia, seguir las regulaciones de seguridad alimentaria/USDA y cumplir con todas las normas de seguridad de la planta.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- working up to 20 hrs of overtime per week
- working weekends
